Unlike the grand celebrations the Kapoors are known for, Ranbir Kapoor chose to get married in an intimate ceremony with a limited guest list. The actor tied the knot with Alia Bhatt on April 14 at his Vastu residence. Amid the limited guests were Akash Ambani and his wife Shloka Mehta.

Recently, a photo of the couple posing with other guests at the RanLia wedding has surfaced online and we just can't get over Shloka's stunning look.

For the wedding, the stunner opted to wear a sheer gold saree with heavy embroidery all over. She teamed her drape with a matching blouse. To amp up her look, Shloka picked a sleek necklace with matching maang tikka and bracelet. Keeping her hair open, she went for minimal makeup.

What the bride wore

For her wedding, Alia chose to go minimal. Ditching the lehenga, she opted for a Sabyasachi saree, paired with a matching veil. As per the ace designer's post on Instagram, Alia wore "a hand dyed ivory organza saree embroidered with fine tilla work and an embroidered handwoven tissue veil."

Meanwhile, for her mehendi ceremony, the actress picked a Manish Malhotra lehenga, which took 3,000 hours of intricate handwork to make.

Alia's heartfelt note

After her wedding with Ranbir, Alia took to Insta to share the first photos from the wedding. Along with the dreamy pics, she penned a heartfelt note, revealing that the lovebirds got married at their favourite spot.

A part of her post read, "With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites."
