Since the picture of Victoria Court up in flames, and a sinister looking Tracy Barlow holding a lighter, we have been waiting for some truly explosive episodes.

And Corrie fans will not have long to wait as the scenes will be hitting our screens NEXT WEEK.

The ITV soap bosses have released these images of the upcoming scenes giving some indication of the drama about to unfold.

There are plenty of surprises in store as well, as Tracy attempts to exact her revenge on Carla Connor and break up Liz and Tony.

After telling stunned Liz about her affair with Tony Stewart, on the day of Steve and Michelle’s wedding, she decides to pin the blame of her scuppered Rovers plans on arch enemy Carla Connor.

And sinking to a whole new level of horror, Deirdre’s daughter sneaks into Carla’s flat while she sleeps - but does she have murder on her mind?

When the ferocious fire does take hold at Victoria Court even Tracy seems concerned in one image released by ITV ahead of their week of big drama.

It is not confirmed who else will be caught up in the fire - but when the soap filmed the stunt at their Media City set local residents were so convinced it was real they called the fire brigade.

With so much effort going into the special effects we are certain the fire is set to have repercussions for the whole street.

Also in this roller coaster of a week for Weatherfield Kal proposes to a thrilled Leeanne and Maddie is stunned to discover the truth about Jenny Bradley’s plans for Kevin’s son Jack.

And of course Steve and Michelle finally tie the knot (check out a picture of Kym Marsh in the dress in our gallery) but will everything go to plan?
