Kannada actress Rashmi Prabhakar will soon get hitched to her beau Nikhil. Ahead of her big day, wedding festivities have begun at the actress' residence in Bengaluru. It all started with the 'Vara Pooja', a traditional custom that is followed in south Indian weddings.

The actress shared a glimpse of the ritual on her Instagram handle. Rashmi was spotted wearing a traditional silk saree for the rituals at home. The actress seems to be excited about her big day and just can't resist sharing her excitement with her fans.

Following the Vara Pooja, other rituals like Mehandi, Haldi, and many others are likely to take place.

Meanwhile, Rashmi is all set to tie the knot on April 25, 2022. The actress will be getting married to her long-term boyfriend Nikhil in an intimate ceremony in Bengaluru. The love birds had been dating for quite some time now and were quite tight-lipped about their relationship until their engagement.

Lakshmi Baramma fame Rashmi Prabhakar exchanged rings with the love of her life Nikhil Brargav in 2021. The soon-to-be-married couple looked ravishing at their engagement ceremony. While Rashmi was seen in a traditional silk saree, Nikhil looked stylish in an off-white sherwani. The duo looked their best on their special day.

On the career front, Rashmi was last seen on Kannada television with the daily soap Manasella Neene. She essayed the lead role of 'Raaga' in the daily soap. However, the actress bid adieu to the show midway owing to personal issues.
