Vinodkumar-Revathi, son of Ponkumar, Chairman, Tamil Nadu Construction Workers’ Welfare Board, got married at the Ramachandra Convention Center in Thiruvanmiyur.

This marriage is a marriage that takes place with a sense of self-respect. Reformed marriage. Tamil marriage. Marriage that adds pride to Tamil.

The artist got the pride of being a classical language only to add pride to Tamil. This marriage has taken place with that pride and feeling.

When Anna became the first minister in 1967, he passed a resolution calling for a reformed marriage. I thank Ponkumar for giving me the opportunity to lead and conduct the same Reformed marriage.

The people of Tamil Nadu gave overwhelming support to the secular coalition in the parliamentary and assembly elections. They sought victory in the subsequent local elections because of the trust they placed in us. I have attended this wedding with that in mind.
