Chasing their happily ever after, Sanju and Aditi orchestrate a wedding plan to accommodate the anticipated family dramawhich is a part of every wedding. And all we can say is – whentwo equally culturally driven families face each other, madness and dhamaal will follow!

Talking about the film, Vikrant Massey said, “Seldom do you come across a film that ticks all the right boxes. It is an out-an-out family entertainer that brings to fore a contemporary twist to an age-old societal issue. I believe in finding a middle ground but having said that, if I love my partner as much as my character Sanjay loves Aditi, I definitely would have, in real life, done things that Sanjay did. What I can’t do or isn’t happening off-screen, I try to do in front of the camera. And I hope to get enough opportunities to continue to do so.”

Commenting on her character, Kriti Kharbanda said, “14 Phere gave me an opportunity to headline a strong character like Aditi – an independent, practical young woman who breaks all stereotypes. For her, the brain was as important as the heart and that’s what excited me about getting into her shoes. Weddings are always a fun affair but Aditi and Sanju’s 14 Phere is twice as mad and fun as any real Shaadi would be. The situations in the movie are very relatable but they come with a twist. It has also always been my dream to elope, and at least I got to, somewhat, live my dream on-screen. “

Talking about her role, Gauahar Khan said, “I think it’s the greatest challenge for an actor to be given a role that is everything you are not as a person in real life. 14 Phere is my first attempt at comedy and I got to play Delhi ki Meryl Streep – now that’s a dream! And I can confidently say that this genre is something I will try more of. Since I was playing 3 different characters, it was a struggle because of the prosthetics, switching from one to another and diving into shoot immediately after my own wedding but it was all worth it. The film gives out a very good message and I think that’s what makes it one of the most relevant films right now.”

“We were singing, playing and having a great time on set – literally like a happy family. My aim for the film was to highlight every character of the film significantly, and not just the protagonists which is why I really focused greatly on the script of the film so that every role stands out. The idea was to present something unique with a twist. Imagine masti and madness in planning 1 shaadi, let alone 2 shaadis. It was a great experience to have worked with such a wonderful cast, like I said – feels like a family.” said Devanshu Singh.

Directed by Devanshu Singh, 14 Phere stars Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda along with Gauahar Khan and Jameel Khan. The film is about Sanju and Aditi’s dreamy love story tucked away from their tradition-driven families. Their picture-perfect life faces trouble when they decide to finally exchange wedding vows. Being madly in love with each other, they create a fresh family background to woo each other’s families, the crazywedding shenanigans lead to a truckload of laughs, emotions, and drama!
