A photo of Roger Federer and his wife Mirka attending a wedding in Venice has sparked promising news about the Swiss maestro's injury.
Mirka and Federer joined a celebrity-filled list, which included music icons Beyonce and Jay-Z, for friends Alexandre Arnault and Geraldine Guyot's wedding on the Venice island of San Giorgio.

The groom, Alexandre, is the son of Barnard Arnault who overseas 70 brands and is the third richest person in the world worth $250 billion, according to Forbes.
Federer is the brand ambassador for one of the Arnault family brands Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH).
Only one photo has emerged of Federer and Mirka arriving at the luxury wedding, but fans appeared to spot an interesting detail.
Federer didn't have the crutches that accompanied him during his recent outing at the Laver Cup.
The 40-year-old stunned fans with his Laver Cup appearance this year after announcing he would be taking the rest of 2021 off, but appeared with crutches.
However, at Arnault's wedding, the photograph on social media appears to show him walking without help.

The Arnault family own such brands as Louis Vuitton and Sephora and spent $4 billion in 2019 to purchase hospitality group Belmond.
The group oversees 46 hotels, trains and river cruises.
Geraldine Guyot is the founder of French accessory brand D'Estree.
Other celebrities that attended the wedding included Pharrell Williams, Omar Sy and a number of huge names from the fashion industry.
Federer recently put his Australian Open campaign in doubt after he revealed it's going to take a "few more months" to get back on the tennis court.
This makes a return at the Australian Open in January appear unlikely.
