Bride sues wedding venue for Rs 1.5 crore; reason will shock you

In a bizarre incident, a bride filed a case against an award-winning wedding venue.

According to an international media website, the newly-wed bride sued the wedding venue for Rs 1.5 crore after she slipped on the dance floor and broke her elbow.

The woman identified as Cara Donavan claimed that she slipped on spilled drinks on the laminated plastic floor. The newly-wed bride fell on the floor after the wedding venue’s staff failed to stop guests from taking their drinks onto the highly slippery floor.

Cara Donavan is a teacher by profession.

She accused that no one came to clean the slippery floor even after the alcohol spilled. Donavan added that the tables were placed by the floor encouraging people to dance and drink.

The surprising incident took place in September 2018. The woman has undergone three operations since her fall. However, Cara does still not recover and suffering in pain. Now, the mother of two, holds the staff responsible for her condition.

Notably, the Country House Weddings Ltd had once received the Best UK Wedding Venue award by magazine readers and now it has been sued by the Cara Donavan.
