PREPARATIONS have begun for Ant McPartlin's posh wedding to Anne-Marie Corbett tomorrow.

The venue has been revealed as a lavish countryside estate, with tight security already in place - and the marquee erected.

The huge property has plenty of space for Ant and Anne-Marie's 100 guests, who are expected to stay overnight at the luxury accommodation.

A roomy marquee will offer the stars privacy as well as shelter in the event of rain during the UK's unpredictable summer.

It was previously reported that 45-year-old Ant expects to splash £100,000 on the nuptials, and he has told pals to send their spa bill to his and Anne-Marie's £5,000-a-night honeymoon suite.

The suite alone is thought to cost more than a room at The Ritz.

The couple were said to have initially looked into getting wed abroad but thought it too unpredictable due to Covid.

SIMPLE BUT BEAUTIFUL

Ant and Anne-Marie will tie the knot tomorrow, 6 August, with celebrations going into the weekend.

The couple got engaged at Christmas, and Declan Donnelly is expected to be TV sidekick Ant's best man.

A source told The Sun: "Neither of them want the razzmatazz of a showbiz wedding. They just want their nearest and dearest with them.

“It will be a simple but beautiful ceremony, without the glare of the spotlight.

“They’re both extremely excited and can’t wait to tie the knot.

"But they’re desperate to keep a lid on things. Those who know have been told it’s top secret."

The private wedding will be a sharp contrast to Ant’s lavish, star-studded nuptials with Strictly make-up artist ex, Lisa Armstrong.

They got married in 2006 at Cliveden House Hotel, Bucks, in front of 150 guests — followed by a huge fireworks display.

The former couple split in 2018, with their divorce finalised last year - formally ending their 11-year marriage.

Ant proposed to his former PA on Christmas Eve with a ring that he designed himself, and was spotted playing a round of golf with best pal Dec earlier this week ahead of his big day.
