While earlier there were conflicting dates coming up for the couple's mid-April wedding, Alia’s uncle Robin Bhatt recently confirmed to IndiaToday.in that they will tie the knot on April 14. The actress’s mehendi ceremony will take place on April 13. And now, Alia's half-brother, Rahul Bhatt has also opened up about the grand shaadi. In a recent media interaction, he spilled some interesting details about the Bollywood’s big, fat upcoming wedding ceremony.

RAHUL BHATT ON ALIA-RANBIR KI SHAADI

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set for their wedding and we are rooting for every update about the couple. In an interview with The Times Of India, Alia's half-brother Rahul Bhatt said, “Yes, the wedding is happening and I have been invited. I will be there for the ceremonies. However, I am not going to sing and dance. I am a gym instructor by profession and I will be there in the capacity of a bouncer (laughs!). I will be the rakshak at the wedding.”

Rahul Bhatt added, “I am really happy to see what she has achieved at such a young age. She has got a great body of work and she has found fame, fortune and real love, which is non-existent in today’s time. She has been blessed with everything because of her choices, the Almighty, the blessings of her parents and good karma. At the right age, she is making the right choices.”

ALIA BHATT-RANBIR KAPOOR’S WEDDING DATE CONFIRMED

Alia's uncle, Robin Bhatt, told IndiaToday.in that the couple's wedding would be a 4-day event. He also mentioned that the shaadi will take place on April 14, while the mehendi will happen on April 13. The couple will exchange vows in an intimate ceremony at RK’s Bandra home, Vastu. Robin Bhatt is a writer and father of filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.

After dating for five years, Ranbir and Alia will finally be husband and wife soon.
